The whole Internet angel on this report is pretty messed up too. The gaming girl says not only did the game not offend her, but there's nothing really wrong with having games like this exist. Luckily to balance things out, they talk to a British gaming couple. Of course, the evil organization Equality Now was brought into the mix. I guess all the regulations that have been put in place since the banning & even ones that are in the works aren't enough to please the CNN reporter & other insane people. There are complaints that not enough is being done to make sure games like RapeLay don't exist.
#RAPELAY GAME FOOTAGE TORRENT#
The main point of the report seems to be that despite the fact that the game was banned, it still exists online via illegal torrent downloads & even YouTube videos showing footage from the game. But the way the report is set up makes it sound like they're trying to kill you & your children. But not only is that a gross oversimplification, it's not even really a bad thing to begin with. As the above video shows, the reporter tries to scare her audience into believing in Japan is some kind of sick, perverted country where pornographic video games are found everywhere. Why draw attention to it again after all this time isn't exactly clear, but it probably had to do with a slow news day. CNN, the news network that can't get stories about Japan right, has for some reason decided to start reporting on the troubles surrounding the ERO game RapeLay again- nearly a year after it all first went down & FOUR years since the game actually first went on sale.
